Updated Black & White Kitchen

This kitchen was one of my all time favorites.

I loved the classic black and white design with a modern twist. The classic elements like the white shaker cabinets and white subway tile were paired with more modern elements like black doors and window frames and honed brass light fixtures and drawer pulls.

The tile backsplash behind the stove also creates a modern graphic element that ties the black and white design details together. Another favorite element I am seeing in so many of the kitchens that I photograph is this beautiful quartz countertop. Looks like marble but acts like steel.
