This bedroom was definitely worth the wait.

This master retreat is a luxurious space for the homeowner with a black woven chandelier, white walls and vaulted ceilings. The bed has a velvet channel-tufted headboard in taupe with three apricot colored shams and a cream boucle bench at the base.

You know the story: supply chain issues and unexpected delays pushed the completion date for this master bedroom from just a couple months to over a year. BUT patience proved it’s own reward and the finished project is gorgeous. Joy Ferrara, of Home Joy Designs in Ashburn, Virginia, created a luxurious, custom retreat for the homeowner filled with texture subtile colors.
